The Mouth-Body Connection® message was finally ready to take off. With growing clinical research and cross-platform momentum, we needed to give it the right foundation: content that could both educate patients and convert interest into action. The information was dense and overly clinical. And when your goal is to educate patients and drive appointment referrals, clarity is everything.
I led the full content strategy and rewrite, transforming technical medical-dental insights into clear, human, trust-building journeys. We built authority without losing accessibility–and finally gave the Mouth-Body Connection® the legs to lead.
approach
We took a systems-level approach, rooted in healthcare communication best practices. First, I segmented content by condition (heart health, diabetes, brain health, cancer, women’s health, and inflammation) to meet users where their concerns were. Then, I wrote the information through a narrative lens–moving patients from “what is this?” to “why it matters” to “what do I do next?”
The Mouth-Body Connection® became the strategic framework for building relevance, trust, and urgency–while giving clinicians a shared, simplified way to explain complex medical relationships.
Each page was designed not just to educate, but to support real patient decisions—and move people from learning to booking with confidence.
